You have been waiting for them, you’ve been following their updates and you have offered them all your support, and now you finally get to meet them. Are you ready? All authors – creators of jewelry, dreams, stories, smiles, life – enthusiastic, passionate or curious come together on the 7th & 8th of November, in Bucharest, for the biggest edition of AUTOR Contemporary Jewelry Fair so far.

Who are the AUTHORS?
More than 160 artists from 25 different countries on 4 continents have sent their applications for the autumn edition of the fair. AUTOR aims to inspire and bring together the most talented artists and jewelry designers out there – by doing so for the past 7 years, it has become the most important event dedicated to contemporary jewelry in South-Eastern Europe.

The Jury, reuniting Doris Maninger – Director of Alchimia Jewelry School in Florence, Lucia Massei – Director of Alchimia Jewelry School in Florence, Ruudt Peters – Artist Professor Opere Summer School in The Netherlands, Paulo Ribeiro – Founder and Director of Joya Barcelona and Dan Piersinaru – Founder and Director of AUTOR, have chosen the best collections created in Ireland, Denmark, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Israel, South Korea, France, Argentina and others.

What’s new?
For the first time in the history of the fair, artists form Japan, Pakistan, Portugal, The Netherlands and South Africa have joined the AUTOR call for entries.
The 14th edition of AUTOR will be the scene where interconnected worlds will celebrate contemporary jewelry and the anniversary of 7 years since AUTOR has laid the grounds for an interactive global platform for communication and promotion dedicated to jewelry creators and their public.

AUTOR Awesome Award
AAA (AUTOR Awesome Award): the international jury will award the AAA designer prize to the creator of the most impressive pieces. The prize is designed to help the winner develop his/her jeweller career.

AUTOR Special Awards
Assamblage School Award – The only contemporary jewelry school in Bucharest is offering a jewelry course to a talented young designer.
Krama Award – The newest of the prizes, recently established at the spring edition, consists of a jewelry course at Krama Institute of Contemporary Jewelry in Athens.
ELLE Award – ELLE fashion editors will extensively feature the chosen designer in the next issue of the most successful fashion magazine in Romania.

AUTOR Award for Joya Barcelona – AUTOR offers an award at the Joya Barcelona fair this October and the winner will have the opportunity to take part in AUTOR fair free of charge in 2016.

People’s Choice Award – Everyone present at the fair will be able to vote for the “People’s Choice Award” that gives the chosen designer the chance to automatically take part in the next edition of AUTOR.

Special Guest: AUTOR Magazine #2. The Loving Issue.

AUTOR Magazine #2 will join all the other authors during the first weekend in November for the fair. Launched in 2013 at the 10th edition of AUTOR fair, AUTOR Magazine is a specialised jewelry magazine that explores subjects related to contemporary art jewelry. The first contemporary jewelry magazine in Romania, and the only title in South-Eastern Europe, AUTOR Magazine is a facilitator that promotes contemporary jewelry designers. It is an independent and audacious project, one of only three of this kind in Europe.

The International Jewelry Fair AUTOR is the most important event in this field in South-Eastern Europe. The biannual event aims to create a dynamic environment with high selection standards. The participants to the fair are offered access to an exquisite and attractive clientele. AUTOR is an active platform that encourages and creates a dialogue between designers and their public: consumers, collectors, galleries, distributors, specialized media.
