” The shift of perspective towards self and one’s place in the world is essential for the potential emerging artists included in this exhibition, as they find themselves in a moment of existential transition that is inevitably mined by the persistence of the social one.
The dissection of self in an obsessive need for answers that they hope to find here (in human nature), leads them to means of visual expression that ooze ingenuity, sincerity and ambiguity, all these characteristics being absolutely necessary in the process of development, where the appearance of new qualities must be spontaneous and unpredictable.
Boldly diving into a self-referential background, as an essential step that has to be taken towards knowledge, they get a novel, mobile placing in the social background. Nevertheless, the latter becomes a frame with vague limits, and so the artists do not stop here but offer us an extended vision of the world, with which their own bodies and their positioning on certain coordinates create an open unit”.
